KT Eisler Fine Art

KT fell in love with art at an early age. Growing up in Southern California , she was able to see a great variety of art in person from a young age. Be it the Illuminated Manuscripts or Contemporary Minimalist sculpture, the works delighted and informed her. As a teenager, she discovered and connected with Figurative art and it continues to be her passion today. KT attended Bennington College where she was exposed to Abstract Expressionism and The New York School, which still inform her work.

Years of independent study and observation led her to resume her formal studies, and in 2017 KT joined the Kang-OHiggins Atelier at Gage Academy in Seattle. The period from 2017-2020 brought not only Atelier training but intensive study in Rome. Immersion in the beauty of the Baroque and its physicality combined with rigorous dedication, KT’s work deepened emotionally and technically.

From her studio in Seattle, KT cultivates and hones her vision into paintings about what it is to be human both emotionally and physically.

“I find human beings endlessly fascinating both in their external and internal worlds. Whether using direct observation or a constructed image, the intent is to create an environment of emotion, empathy and witness for the viewer and myself”.

Calling on her deep love and knowledge of what moves her and her technical skills developed in order to communicate that love accurately, “My paintings celebrate the range of human experiences with robust paint handling and keen observational skills, creating work that  both blurs and delineates the boundary between what is internal and what is external.”
